Officiants & Premarital Counseling

I am an ordained minister who has been officiating weddings since 2009. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I moved to Spokane, WA. in the fall of 2020. Back in California, I was part of a group of wedding officiants, Officially Yours, that collectively officiated 400+ weddings/year at our peak. Since moving to Spokane, I've struggled to gain traction in the wedding community, primarily due to a lack of contacts/networking. I don't really know many people here. I am highly collaborative in my approach to helping couples craft a unique and personalized ceremony that fits the couple's unique story, values, personalities, and desires. I offer a modern, primarily digital process that makes ceremony planning and creating simple, intuitive, engaging, and fun. I also offer premarital counselling using the Prepare/Enrich model for interested couples couples.

I have been in business for about a year and a half, but I have known how to DJ weddings since 2007. I have good audio equipment and can read a room, but my biggest strengths are personal connection and skill on the microphone. I care about making the wedding day the best it can possibly be, and I put in the prep and the planning to help make that happen.

Our personalized services provide every couple with a Wedding Officiant and a Ceremony Coordinator to assist with both the wedding rehearsal and ceremony. We offer ceremonies from simple to elaborate, whatever the couple’s needs and desires. We can provide them with assistance in writing their own unique vows or, if the couple chooses, even help them design their own custom ceremony that reflects their own style. We believe as much care and attention should be given to the ceremony as to other aspects of the celebration. Our goal is to provide a flawless ceremony; one the couple has always envisioned.
